Chill Out start up!

28 Aug

Hi everyone! Chill Outs will be starting up again after a bit of a summer break. The first Chill Out will be on the 6th of September when we will go bowling together in the bowling alley in Kallio urheilutalo ( We’re meeting at 18.30, please bring also a few euros to pay for the bowling and the shoes! More information about the bowling chill out on our facebook page.

During the fall we will organize a lot of fun events and I hope both newcomers and old UCC:ers will come along! I hope the chill outs can be a place where we can both have fun and chill out, as well as a place for good discussions and where we can really get to know each other better and grow as a church family!
The chill outs will be each Friday in different locations.

I would also love to hear your ideas on how we could improve the chill outs. Do you have a theme in mind or would you just like to give some feedback on the chill outs? If you do, you can contact me by email (, find me on facebook or call me on 0456501264.

Hope to see you all next week!!

NEW GROWTH CLASS: Mission of God’s People

26 Apr

We’re launching a new three part UCC growth class!

UCC Growth Class 3: The Mission of God’s People.

Dates: May 13, 20, and 27 @ UCC office, Leppävaara, Tulkinkuja 3 (6th floor)

Description: The course focuses on the biblical theology of the church’s mission, based on Christopher J.H. Wright’s book: The Mission of God’s People. The three-time course answers the question: What does the Bible as a whole in both testaments have to tell us about why the people of God exist and what it is they are supposed to be and do in the world? As disciples of Jesus we have to have a clear understanding of our mission in life. This course is therefore a must for all of us who want to understand our place in world missions.

Please, sign up for the course by sending an e-mail to:
